GS1 product image validation tool

Generate a valid GS1 file name, or check one you already have.

Retailers and data pools expect product images to follow the GS1 Product Image Specification. The file name encodes GTIN, image type, facing, angle and pack state — for example 00012345678905_A1C1.jpg.

The tool is free and runs in the browser. For images at scale, use the fmcgProducts media server with GS1Trade Image and EPD Mediastore.
